IAC Certificate

IAC Certificate

The IAC Certificate is a standard document in CargoWise, located in Consol > Documents > Air Cargo Security > IAC Certification. You will need to configure your IAC number against your organization proxy in order for this to display on the IAC Certificate (See section A below). Based on the Known/Unknown state of the shipper, the document will automatically display the correct format and title. To flag a shipper as known, edit the shipper organization and flag the shipper as known on the Known Shipper tab (See Section B below).

A: How to Configure your IAC Number

Go to Maintain > User > Companies, find and open your company. On the top right, look for the "Organization Proxy" box, place your cursor in the box, use F3 on your keyboard to edit the organization.

Enter your IAC assigned number in the Config > Registration Numbers/Codes tab (Type = FAA)

Save and close.

Go back to your consol and test your IAC Certificate. Consol > Documents > Air Cargo Security > IAC Certification.

B: How to Configure a Known Shipper

After checking KSMS and determining that a shipper is known, you may flag the shipper as known in CargoWise. To do so, locate the shipper organization and edit it. On the TSA Known Shipper tab, select an address, set approved to "Yes", optionally enter the date checked and comments.

Save and close.

Go back to your consol and test your IAC Certificate. Consol > Documents > Air Cargo Security > IAC Certification.
